• Fitness Tracking: Offers over 40 distinct exercise modes, built-in GPS for phone-free pace tracking, and the ability to stream your real-time heart rate to compatible gym equipment.
• Battery Life: Lasts up to 7 days under normal usage, significantly outperforming standard smartwatches.
• Hardware Design: Built with a metal alloy frame, Corning Gorilla Glass, and a side-mounted haptic “button” nub for navigation. It is water-resistant up to 50 meters.

Important Buying Considerations

• Subscription Paywall: While standard metrics are free, advanced features—such as your Daily Readiness Score and deep sleep insights—require an ongoing Fitbit Premium subscription.
• Account Requirement: The tracker strictly requires a Google Account to set up and use.
• Known Quirks: Reviewers frequently point out that the side haptic button can be unreliable. Additionally, tightening the strap too close to the wrist has been shown to occasionally interfere with the built-in GPS accuracy.
