Fitbit Versa 4 Smartwatch

• Battery Life: Lasts 6+ days on a single charge under typical use, significantly outperforming full Wear OS or watchOS alternatives. It also supports fast charging.
• Display: Features a bright 1.58-inch AMOLED touchscreen with an optional Always-On display mode.
• Fitness Tracking: Tracks 40+ exercise modes (such as strength training, HIIT, and swimming) and offers automatic workout detection via SmartTrack.
• Sensors & Hardware: Built-in GPS for phone-free route mapping, a 24/7 heart rate monitor, SpO2 (blood oxygen) monitoring, and skin temperature tracking.
• Water Resistance: Swimproof and water-resistant up to 50 meters.
• Compatibility: Works across both iOS and Android operating systems.

Smart Connectivity & Limitations

• Google Integration: Features Google Wallet for contactless payments and Google Maps for turn-by-turn navigation text and vibration cues (requires a connected phone).
• Voice Assistant: Uniquely relies on Amazon Alexa built-in for voice commands and smart home control, rather than Google Assistant.
• On-Wrist Calls: Includes a built-in microphone and speaker allowing you to answer Bluetooth calls directly from your wrist when your phone is nearby.
• App Ecosystem Drawback: Unlike the Versa 3, the Versa 4 does not support third-party apps or music streaming controls (like Spotify or Strava). Google intentionally limited these smart features to create a clear divide between Fitbit fitness trackers and the full Wear OS Google Pixel Watch line.
