HyperX Cloud Jet Wireless Gaming Headset
₦130,000.00
The HyperX Cloud Jet Dual Wireless Gaming Headset is an accessible, budget-friendly headset engineered for multi-platform gamers. It features dual wireless capability (2.4GHz and Bluetooth), seamless device switching, and signature comfort designed for long gaming sessions.Dual-Mode Connectivity & Multi-Platform Utility
• Seamless Switching: Easily toggle between an ultra-low-latency 2.4GHz connection (via the included USB-A dongle) and Bluetooth. This allows you to hop from PC or console gaming to answering a mobile phone call instantly.
• Broad Compatibility: Operates smoothly across PC, Mac, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, and mobile platforms.
Key Specifications & Features
• Dual Wireless Connectivity: Seamlessly toggle between low-latency 2.4GHz wireless for PC/consoles and Bluetooth 5.3 for mobile devices and the Nintendo Switch.
• Battery Life: Lasts up to 25 hours on Bluetooth or up to 20 hours when using the ultra-low-latency 2.4GHz dongle.
• Audio Hardware: Built with 40mm dynamic drivers enclosed in a closed-back cup design to offer punchy bass and passive noise isolation.
• Microphone: Features a swivel-to-mute unidirectional boom microphone with built-in sidetone so you can hear your own voice clearly during intense matches.
• Design & Build: Employs a highly lightweight plastic frame with an elastic suspension headband and breathable mesh earpads aimed at marathon gaming sessions.
• Platform Compatibility: Fully compatible with PC, Mac, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Mobile (Note: Xbox is not supported via wireless).
Notable Limitations
While it offers high-value wireless versatility, third-party product reviewers and users have noted a couple of drawbacks:
• No Software Battery Meter: There is no dedicated software or on-screen battery level meter, requiring users to rely entirely on the headset’s physical flashing LED light to gauge when it needs a charge.
• Build Material Concerns: Some users discussing the product on Reddit expressed caution that the budget-friendly plastic frame, flip-to-mute mic mechanism, and volume dial inherit physical wear-and-tear vulnerabilities seen in past entry-tier lines.
