The PS5 disc drive is being snapped up like hot cakes after Sony announced that the only way to play discs on the PS5 Pro would be to buy a external disc drive.
Sony unveiled the PS5 Pro earlier this month and revealed it would have a 2TB SSD, a DualSense wireless controller and a copy of Astro’s Playroom pre-installed in every PS5 Pro purchase – but no disc drive, meaning you’ll have to pay up another £100 (at least) to play your discs.
